The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pike uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sarinnen.
Sarinnen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pike looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sarinnen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pike, who protects the arm well.
Pike can't do much from the bottom here.
Sarinnen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pike keeps working.
Pike regains half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pike holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
