Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Rivers (ranked 1520 p4p, 2229 weight class) and Edward Sleon (ranked 226 p4p, 316 weight class). Rivers comes to the cage accompanied by Gojira - Sphinx. Sleon has chosen Shabba Madda Pot - Dexta Daps as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Edward Sleon!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sleon was well out of range. Poor timing from Rivers.
Sleon throws a lazy right hand but Rivers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rivers throwing a counter right hand but Sleon manages to avoid it.
Rivers gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sleon keeps Rivers at a distance using the push kick.

Edward Sleon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rivers throws a nice looking combination but Sleon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sleon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sleon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rivers defends it nicely.

Rivers punishes Sleon's body with a nice straight punch.

and Rivers counters with a nice body shot.
Sleon swings widly with a right hand
and Rivers counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sleon cracks Rivers with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sleon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rivers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sleon.
Rivers swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Sleon throws a body shot but no joy.
Rivers swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Sleon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rivers's waist but Rivers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sleon off to one side.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rivers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sleon throws out the jab.

As Sleon backs away, Rivers returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Sleon looks to land a left hand but Rivers moved out of range nicely.
Rivers scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Edward Sleon has been cut.
Sleon throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Sleon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Sleon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
As Sleon looks to move away, Rivers throws a big counter combo but Sleon just gets out of the way.
Sean Rivers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Sleon.

Rivers lands a nice looking body shot.
Rivers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sleon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sean Rivers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rivers swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Rivers is looking to wear down Sleon with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Sleon throws a body shot but no joy.
Rivers avoids the head kick by Sleon.
Sleon misses with a jab to the body
enabling Rivers to counter with a crisp jab.
A big right from Sleon misses.
Sleon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rivers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Sleon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rivers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sleon.
Rivers feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Rivers throws a good cross that connects.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Edward Sleon will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Sleon throws a jab but it's blocked by Rivers.
A little feinted left hand from Rivers on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Sleon moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rivers checks a leg kick.
Jab, jab by Sleon - just one landing.
Sleon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sleon shoots in but Rivers avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sleon throws the left hand but Rivers avoids the punch easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sleon swings for the body but Rivers moves out of range.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Rivers might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rivers lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sleon has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sleon and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rivers swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rivers throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sleon.
Sleon feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Riverss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rivers's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sleon under the eye.
Sleon is rocked!
Rivers darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Sleon's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Rivers before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sean Rivers!
After winning the bout, Sean Rivers thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Edward Sleon had this to say: 'Thank you to my opponent and all the fans, my coaches and sponsors.'.
