Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Baldin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussi Peraemetsae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky Baldin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Baldin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jussi Peraemetsae! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baldin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Peraemetsae looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Peraemetsae has hold of Baldin's hands but Baldin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Baldin is looking to advance position but Peraemetsae won't allow it. Baldin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Peraemetsae defends it well. Baldin drops an elbow to the side of Peraemetsae's head. Peraemetsae wants to get back to his feet. Baldin is working for a submission of some sort.
Baldin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Peraemetsae does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Well, if Baldin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baldin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Peraemetsae with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Baldin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
It looks like Baldin is going to stand back up.
Peraemetsae is doing well to control the position and prevent Baldin from advancing to side control. Baldin passes to full mount! Peraemetsae is in a horrible position here. Baldin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Baldin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Baldin is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Peraemetsae can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Baldin looking to control but Peraemetsae is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Baldin landing strikes from the mount.
Peraemetsae is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baldin unloading with bombs! Peraemetsae is still in real trouble! Can Baldin finish him? We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Peraemetsae can do anything to dispel that myth. Baldin with good strikes from the mount here!
It looks like Jussi Peraemetsae has been cut. Baldin raining down shots from the mount! Baldin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Baldin is landing with some decent strikes but Peraemetsae is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baldin working away from the top, dropping strikes. Baldin swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
