Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between DJ Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grady Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woods has chosen M.O.P.- Ante Up as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods has a takedown stuffed.
Nice body kick from Taylor.
Taylor clinches.
Taylor tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Woods just stands there and leans against the cage.
Woods tries to pull guard but Taylor won't allow it.
Taylor manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Taylor lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Woods tries to roll over but Taylor keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Taylor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Woods has taken the fight to the clinch.
Woods misses with a hook from the clinch.
Woods misses with a knee to the head.
Taylor gets underhooks to prevent Woods's takedown attempt.
Taylor drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Woods drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Taylor gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Woods misses with an elbow over the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DJ Taylor dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Woods clinches with his opponent.
Woods goes for a takedown in the clinch but Taylor prevents it.
Woods wants the takedown. Taylor is fighting it off but Woods persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Taylor's guard against the cage.
Woods controls from within his opponent's guard.

Woods tries to free his leg and advance position but Taylor is retaining full guard.
Woods postures up in Taylor's guard and throws a big left but Taylor blocks it.
Woods drops back looking for a leg! Taylor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Taylor manages to kick Woods off! Woods jumps back into Taylor's guard.
Taylor controls Woods momentarily but Woods frees himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Taylor is in trouble now - Woods has advanced to mount!
Woods lands with some strikes.
Woods working for a submission but Taylor is keeping him at bay.
Taylor can't escape the position.
Woods jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Taylor is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Taylor and Woods has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Woods in side control, throwing shots but Taylor defends.
Woods has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
A head kick from Taylor lands but Woods takes it in his stride.
Taylor tries to clinch but Woods moves out of range.

Taylor rushes Woods and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Taylor has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Woods's face.
