Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Demon (ranked 3770 p4p, 3897 weight class) and Gage Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Demon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gage Burns! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Burns lands a head shot. Demon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Burns connects with a body shot. Gage Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body punch from Burns. Burns dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Burns lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Demon takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Donk. Burns catches Demon right on the button with a cross. Burns tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Demon swivels and escapes. Burns works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burns throws a good cross that connects.
Demon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Demon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Demon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Demon decides to stand up, so the ref orders Burns to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demon tries to clinch there but Burns circles away.
Burns connects with a body shot. The crowd cheers as Burns lands an impressive looking overhand right. Demon doesn't seem phased though. Burns cracks a nice hook into Demon's ribs. Burns stuns Demon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Burns works the jab nicely. Demon clinches up with Burns and pushes him back against the cage. Burns looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Burns lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Burns tries a body shot but Demon blocks it.
Burns presses Demon against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Demon jumps guard but Burns turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Burns displaying some good clinch control by pressing Demon up against the cage. Burns lands on the inside with an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Demon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burns connects with a single shot there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Burns connects with a looping right hand.
Demon tries for a takedown but Burns sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Burns has closed the distance and engaged Demon in a clinch.
Burns lands a body punch in the clinch. Demon lands a takedown into guard.
Demon won't allow Burns to get back to his feet. Burns should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Demon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Burns wants to stand up but Demon is controlling him. Demon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Burns is keeping the position for now. Burns is looking to stand up but Demon isn't so interested in that idea. Demon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Demon wants to control from the top but Burns keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Demon works a leg free and moves into half guard. Demon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Burns is staying active underneath Demon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Demon trying to pass the guard but Burns defending well. Burns is trying to stand up here but Demon is controlling him well.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Burns takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
A low kick from Demon is predictable there and Burns cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gage Burns dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Demon tries to clinch up letting Burns counter with a right hand. Burns stuffs the takedown attempt from Demon. Demon gets slowly back to his feet. Burns lands a jab to the nose. Good exchange - Burns coming out on top. Demon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Gage Burns seems to be getting the better of the standup. Demon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Burns slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Burns finds it's way through Demon's defenses. Burns scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Demon is not content to let Burns control the position. Burns takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demon tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Demon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Burns pulls his head out easily. Demon regains full guard. Nicely done. Demon has his hands on Burns's head, controlling the position. Demon lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Demon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Burns wants to get back to his feet but Demon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns is working an open guard so Demon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Demon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Burns lands a jab. Demon tries for a takedown but Burns sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Demon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Burns dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Burns connects with a looping right hand.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Demon. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Demon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Burns cracks Demon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Demon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. No luck for Demon with that takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Demon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Burns is fending him off so far but Demon persists. Nope, Burns circles away and we're back to standing. Burns works the jab nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns thuds a left hand into Demon's body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Demon walks into a straight right hand from Burns. Burns lands a right hook to the body.
Burns gets in close and instigates a clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Burns. Burns avoiding damage.
Burns has Demon pushed against the cage. Burns lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Demon. Demon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A bit of stalling here from Burns.
Burns's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. A short body shot lands from Burns as the two fighters clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gage Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Burns cracks Demon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Burns lands a right hook to the body.
The Demon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice shot lands for Burns. Burns punishes Demon's body with a nice straight punch. Demon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Burns shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Demon defends it nicely. Burns lands a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burns lands with a hook. Demon tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Horrible takedown attempt by Demon or perhaps it was just good defense by Burns, which made it look bad. Burns punishes Demon's body with a nice straight punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demon wants to clinch and Burns counters with a left to the body. Demon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Burns finds it's way round the side to connect with Demon's head. Burns throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Demon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Demon dives in and grabs Burns's left leg, looking for a takedown. Burns pushes down on Demon's head and hops out. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Burns connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Demon momentarily.
Demon looks to land a body kick but Burns moved away. Burns looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Burns keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Demon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good shot there by Burns. Burns lands a nice looking body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Demon doesn't succeed with the takedown and Burns counters with a nice uppercut. Burns fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Demon misses with a takedown attempt and Burns counters with a stiff right hand. Burns has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burns scores with a jab. Demon acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Burns scores with a shot to the body.
Burns digs a good body shot into Demon's ribs. Demon looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Burns closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burns lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Burns really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Demon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Burns is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Burns is trying to control. Demon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Burns slips a nice elbow through Demon's hands, connecting with Demon's forehead. Demon has hold of Burns's hands but Burns slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Burns lands strikes from half guard. Gage Burns is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns controlling the pace. Burns throwing shots but Demon is blocking nicely. Burns trying to control the action but Demon is working from the bottom. Burns is taking a breather. Demon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Demon wants to improve his position but Burns is controlling well.
Burns with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Burns working Demon over with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Demon wants to improve his position but Burns is controlling well.
Burns takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Burns lands the left hand. Burns takes the fight into the clinch. Burns turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Burns wants to control but Demon is keeping him busy. The Demon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Demon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Burns off and has taken his back!
And that's the end of the fight! Gage Burns comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Burns winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
