Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Storm Father!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Xi Daerji!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daerji moves into the clinch successfully.
Father jumps guard but Daerji stands there with Father around his waist. Father gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Daerji is trying to drag Father to the mat but Father just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Father swings wildly with an uppercut but Daerji uses good head movement to avoid it.
Daerji has Father pushed against the cage.

Daerji is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Daerji really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Father.
Father is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Father is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Daerji gets his way!

Daerji darts in looking for a takedown but Father gets double underhooks and turns Daerji into the cage.

Daerji shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Father as he avoids it easily.
Daerji swats away the attempt to clinch by Father.
Storm Father is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Father cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Father counters with a nice right hand that sends Daerji toppling to the canvas! Daerji scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Father finish him?!

It looks like Xi Daerji has been cut.
Storm Father has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xi Daerji.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Father flashes Daerji a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Daerji's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Daerji crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Father punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Storm Father!
An out of breath Storm Father thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
