Anderson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Iron man. Brownie Anderson has the better chin. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eli Vieira!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Anderson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Anderson.

Anderson has closed the distance and engaged Vieira in a clinch.

Vieira decides to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson wants to stand but Vieira has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Vieira can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Anderson controls the pace.

Vieira is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Vieira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Anderson with a flurry of punches that miss.

Anderson stands up from Vieira's guard - Anderson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Vieira slips a jab from Anderson.
Anderson throws a series of punches but Vieira moves out of range.
Vieira ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Anderson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vieira, pushing him back against the cage.

Vieira decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vieira looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Anderson tries to stand but Vieira is controlling from the bottom.

Vieira is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Vieira has his foot on Anderson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderson works his way back into a safe position though.
Anderson advances to half guard.

Vieira is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Anderson pulls his head out easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Brownie Anderson will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Anderson throws a hook but Vieira blocks it.
Vieira with the counter takedown but Anderson avoids it easily.
Anderson misses the shot to the body.
Anderson throws a jab but it's blocked by Vieira.
Vieira looks like he wants to counter punch here.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vieira.
Vieira avoids the body shot from Anderson.
No joy there for Anderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anderson lands a left and a right that send Vieira crashing to the mat, dazed. Anderson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Vieira is rocked!

It looks like Eli Vieira has been cut.
Anderson misses with a straight right.
Vieira is still on wobbly legs! Can Anderson finish him?
Anderson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Vieira to the canvas! Vieira doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Anderson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brownie Anderson!
