This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 40 wins and 20 losses; Trip Fontaine! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Abner clinches up against the ropes. Fontaine tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Abner just stands there and leans against the ropes. Abner wants a takedown.
Abner jumps guard but Fontaine turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing. Fontaine tries to pull guard but Abner forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. Abner pulls guard. Fontaine postures up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fontaine controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Fontaine is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fontaine wants to control from the top but Abner keeps moving. Fontaine goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Abner rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fontaine's guard! Nice work there by Abner! Abner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fontaine is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Abner is looking to take a break and control but Fontaine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
