Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caz MacAulay (ranked 3876 p4p, 2354 weight class) and Reggie Sanders (ranked 311 p4p, 219 weight class). Sanders has chosen “Death On Me” as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Caz MacAulay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reggie Sanders! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A nice side step and Sanders releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. and Sanders counters with a stiff right hand. Sanders throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MacAulay tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sanders swats him away and circles back towards the center. A countering left hand to the body from Sanders misses. Sanders takes a jab right on the kisser.

That's one minute gone in the round. MacAulay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sanders moves away. A punch combination from MacAulay misses. Sanders swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sanders circles away from the clinch attempt and Sanders counters with a stiff right hand. MacAulay throws an off balance right hand
enabling Sanders to counter with a crisp jab. MacAulay blocks a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacAulay looks to land a left hand but Sanders moved out of range nicely. Sanders has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. MacAulay misses with an uppercut
and Sanders counters with a right hand to the body. MacAulay misses with a jab to the body
and Sanders counters with a lovely shot to the body. MacAulay has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sanders finds it's way round the side to connect with MacAulay's head. MacAulay looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. MacAulay takes a body punch but keeps moving. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A big right from MacAulay misses. MacAulay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
MacAulay closes the distance looking to clinch and Sanders counters with a nice body shot.

and Sanders counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Caz MacAulay has been cut. MacAulay moves to clinch but Sanders breaks away and Sanders counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sanders is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down MacAulay rather than just go for the knockout. MacAulay looks to score with a jab to the body but Sanders is just out of range. MacAulay fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. MacAulay swings widly with a right hand
and Sanders counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps MacAulay thinking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanders misses with a wild combination.
MacAulay misses the body punch and Sanders counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. MacAulay is looking to clinch but Sanders is avoiding it.
Sanders slips under a jab from MacAulay. MacAulay throws a hook to the side of Sanders's head but Sanders sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sanders digs a good body shot into MacAulay's ribs. MacAulay throws a right hand that misses
and Sanders counters with a stiff right hand. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Reggie Sanders dominated that round. The cut man is working on Caz MacAulay's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! MacAulay tests Sanders's chin there with a solid looking shot. A shot to the body from MacAulay misses and MacAulay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. MacAulay misses with a jab to the body
and Sanders connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sanders has been the more effective fighter overall so far. MacAulay misses with a body shot
and Sanders counters with a left and a right that hurts MacAulay! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Sanders jumps into full mount!
MacAulay is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanders unloads with some vicious shots from mount and MacAulay wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Sanders celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reggie Sanders! A relieved looking Reggie Sanders thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
