Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joao Gabriel (ranked 2318 p4p, 5076 weight class) and Alexander Igor (ranked 327 p4p, 562 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gabriel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Circo das Galinhas. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Igor!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gabriel throws an elbow that misses. Igor uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gabriel's guard. Nice move by Igor!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gabriel is defended easily by Igor.
Igor was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Igor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice takedown defense from Igor. No joy for Gabriel on that attempt.
Gabriel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Igor defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joao Gabriel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gabriel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Igor's waist but Igor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gabriel off to one side.
A thudding body kick lands there by Igor!
Igor throws the kick towards the body but Gabriel avoids it.

Igor lands a hook that snaps the head of Gabriel backwards.

Igor lands an elbow just above Gabriel 's eye.

Igor lands with a short shot to the head.
Gabriel is rocked!
Igor pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Gabriel! Igor unloads with more strikes and Gabriel sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Igor!
A relieved looking Alexander Igor thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
