Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Omar Raharu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rivo Niskanen!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raharu misses with a straight right.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Niskanen! But no joy.
Raharu misses with a series of wild punches.
Niskanen raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Raharu misses with an uppercut
and Raharu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Niskanen looks to land a body kick but Raharu moved away.
Niskanen blocks a jab.
Decent striking displayed by Niskanen there.
Niskanen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Niskanen slips a jab from Raharu.
Raharu misses with a wild body shot.
Niskanen misses with the body kick
and Niskanen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Raharu lands a lovely overhand right.
Niskanen throws a hook to the side of Raharu's head but Raharu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Niskanen loads up on a big right hand but Raharu slips the punch.
Raharu lunges at Niskanen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Niskanen's hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Raharu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Raharu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Niskanen was well out of range. Poor timing from Raharu.
Omar Raharu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Niskanen moves out of range as Raharu strikes.
Niskanen throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Raharu counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Niskanen takes one on the button.
Niskanen scores with a leg kick.
Niskanen staying out of range there.
Raharu jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Niskanen now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Niskanen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Raharu.
Raharu misses with an uppercut. Niskanen saw that one coming.
Raharu throws a quick inside leg kick.
Niskanen throws a jab but it's blocked by Raharu.
Niskanen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Raharu throws out the jab.
Raharu misses the jab.
Raharu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Grunt in the buildup to the fight.

Niskanen looks to land a combination. Raharu sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Raharu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Niskanen misses with an uppercut.
Niskanen tests Raharu's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Niskanen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Niskanen blocks a jab.
Raharu throws a body shot but no joy.
Niskanen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Raharu misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Raharu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Niskanen slips under a jab.
Niskanen fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Raharu to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Raharu looks to clinch but Niskanen throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Raharu taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Rivo Niskanen!
A very excited looking Rivo Niskanen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
