Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Chang (ranked 2135 p4p, 23597 weight class) and Carl Crap (ranked 218 p4p, 424 weight class). Crap is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Morrowind. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 2, fighting out of New York, Carl Crap!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Darius Henderson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chang connects with an inside leg kick.
Chang scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Chang throws a front kick aimed at Crap's knee but Crap avoids it well.
Crap slips under a jab.
Chang misses with a body shot.
Crap tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Chang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Crap has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Purpose Martial Arts Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Crap got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crap has managed to get both his arms back between Chang's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Tommy Chang will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
