PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Sanchez (ranked 3327 p4p, 3577 weight class) and Randell Robertson (ranked 283 p4p, 298 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Randell Robertson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson darts in looking for a takedown but Sanchez gets double underhooks and turns Robertson into the cage.

and Sanchez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Robertson's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close second round but I would say that Paul Sanchez will probably get the nod.
