The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novakovic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nejc manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nejc looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nejc lands a left and a right that send Novakovic crashing to the mat, dazed. Nejc thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Nejc pounces like a tiger and cracks Novakovic with a vicious hook! Novakovic is down but not out! Nejc follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
