The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Pendous gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silverstone drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pendous gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Pendous stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silverstone swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pendous drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pendous jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Silverstone is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Pendous has his hands clasped together but Silverstone extends and breaks Pendous's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Silverstone.
