Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antti Kokko (ranked 710 p4p, 2638 weight class) and Erick Colonel (ranked 97 p4p, 342 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kokko has Colonel up against the cage in a clinch.
Colonel fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A frustrated look appears on Colonel's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Colonel wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kokko misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kokko fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kokko is struggling to control the position.
Colonel's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kokko lands a shot to the body.

It looks like Erick Colonel has been cut.
Kokko tries to work over Colonel's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Kokko stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Colonel wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kokko lands a right hand.
Kokko lands a body shot in the clinch.

Kokko tries to throw a body punch but Colonel avoids it by throwing Kokko back against the cage.
Kokko lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Colonel backwards.
Kokko lands an uppercut.

Kokko lands a shot to the body.
Kokko creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Colonel's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Colonel drops to his knees and Kokko pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antti Kokko!
