Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gabriel Mil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Dean!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mil shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dean as he avoids it easily.
Mil definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mil with a poor takedown
and Dean counters with a crisp one two that drops Mil! Dean thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mil to his feet! Mil is in big trouble!
Dean feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mil sprawling to the canvas! Mil rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dean finish him?!
Mil is rocked!
Dean looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dean comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Oh Mil is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mil shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dean but Dean pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Mil. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mil is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Dean doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Mil crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Mil's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Dean!
