Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nico Lin!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gracie did well to prevent Lin getting side control.
Lin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gracie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lin.
Lin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie is looking for a sweep. Lin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie regains full guard. Nicely done.

Lin pushing down on Gracie's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Gracie keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Gracie is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Bigfoot BJJ, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lin is trying a forearm choke I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gracie sees it coming and defends easily.
Lin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well.

Gracie is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lin pulls his head out easily.

Lin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gracie is just riding it out for now. Lin eventually gives up the hold.
Lin prevents Gracie from improving his position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Lin drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Lin off! Lin jumps back into Gracie's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lin is aware though and is defending well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Nico Lin dominated that round.

Lin moves into range and clinches up with Gracie.
Lin is trying to break free.
Gracie successfully pulls guard.
Lin stands and throws Gracie's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gracie, who protects the arm well.
Lin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gracie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gracie wants to control but Lin postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lin in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Gracie is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
