Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Dettmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ming Tollie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dettmann comes to the cage accompanied by Marcel Dettmann - Kernel. Ming Tollie will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dettmann shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Dettmann is pressing down on Tollie's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tollie is holding on for now. Dettmann moves into full mount! Tollie won't be happy about that! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dettmann swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tollie is now in Dettmann's guard. A big mistake from Dettmann there, giving up the dominant position! Dettmann looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dettmann is working an open guard so Tollie takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dettmann scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dettmann tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Dettmann is trying to get an arm triangle but Tollie is defending well. Dettmann working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dettmann is looking to take a break and control but Tollie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dettmann thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dettmann working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dettmann is trying to get an arm triangle but Tollie is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dettmann tries to move into full mount but can't pass Tollie's legs. Dettmann tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dettmann has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tollie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dettmann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dettmann tries to move to mount but Tollie blocks the move with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tollie gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Dettmann is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Tollie is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Tollie flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Dettmann anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Tollie and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Dettmann slips an arm under Tollie chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Dettmann has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Dettmann is squeezing on Tollie like an anaconda would it's prey. Tollie fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
