Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kona Kush (ranked 1865 p4p, 2172 weight class) and Scooter Dahan (ranked 192 p4p, 221 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kona Kush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Scooter Dahan! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dahan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kush. Kush throws a jab when Dahan was well out of range. Kush with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kush lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kush feints a jab promting Dahan to slip. Kush then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dahan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Dahan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dahan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Scooter Dahan has been cut. Kush lands a nice hook to Dahan's body. Dahan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Dahan blocks a jab. Dahan shoots in looking for a takedown but Kush manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dahan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A little feinted left hand from Kush on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kush looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dahan gets a takedown into half guard. Kush is pressing down on Dahan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kush is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dahan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kush tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kush is on top in guard.
Dahan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kush slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kush stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dahan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dahan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kush wants to sweep here but Dahan controlling him for the moment. Dahan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kush has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dahan has managed to get both his arms back between Kush's legs - danger averted. Kush looking for a guillotine here but Dahan defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dahan working some strikes from top position. Kush working a defensive guard here.

Dahan wants to sweep but no luck. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dahan can do anything to dispel that myth. Dahan throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kush uses it to pass to side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kush is working Dahan over with some ground and pound from side control. Kush tries to stand but Dahan is controlling his head. Kush trying to control the action but Dahan is working from the bottom. Dahan is looking for a sweep. Kush tries to advance to mount but Dahan denies him. Kush has knee on belly and moves into mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kona Kush dominated that round. The cut man is working on Scooter Dahan's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Dahan tries to move into range but Kush moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Dahan staying out of range there. Kush misses with a double jab
and Dahan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kush's guard. Dahan looking to pass the guard. Dahan throws a strike but Kush rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kush preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kush scoring with punches to the head and body. Kush trying to control the position from guard on top but Dahan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kush's corner is telling him to maintain position. Kush trying to control but Dahan is working from the bottom. Dahan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kush controls Dahan momentarily but Dahan frees himself. Dahan looking to pass the guard. Dahan cracks Kush with a solid left hand. Kush is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dahan is aware though and is defending well. Dahan scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kush looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dahan passes into half guard.
Kush is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dahan can do to turn this around? Kush trying to control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dahan passes the guard and advances to mount! We've been informed that Dahan has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Dahan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dahan landing punches. Kush is squirming around, avoiding Dahan's attempts to control the action. Dahan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kush is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kush and Dahan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Kush is not content to let Dahan control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kush is looking to regain half guard here but Dahan keeps moving and retains side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Scooter Dahan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Scooter Dahan's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Kush lands a head shot. Kush connects with a crisp jab. Kush throws an overhand right that lands on Dahan's shoulder, as Dahan tries to avoid the shot. Kush throws a left and a right that both miss

Dahan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kush gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kush slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kush trying to control the action but Dahan is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dahan tries to bench press Kush off him but Kush keeps the position. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dahan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kush connects with a decent elbow. Dahan is looking for a sweep. Kush works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Dahan struggling a bit here. Kush lands an elbow. Kush is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dahan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Dahan tries to improve position but can't. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that's the end of the fight! Kona Kush showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kush has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
