Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Landin Durham (ranked 921 p4p, 1592 weight class) and Xavier Couture (ranked 95 p4p, 173 weight class). Landin Durham could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Xavier Couture's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Xavier Couture!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture moves out of range as Durham strikes.
Couture with the counter takedown but Durham avoids it easily.
Couture closes the distance and clinches.
Durham is trying to break free.
Couture has Durham pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Couture pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Durham tumbling to the mat - Couture dives into Durham's guard.

Couture wants to pass the guard but Durham is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Couture thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Durham's head.

Couture stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Durham has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Couture manages to get his head free but now Durham has transitioned to an armbar! Couture grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Durham! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
