Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Silly Billy (ranked 2467 p4p, 1514 weight class) and Eduardo Chavez (ranked 242 p4p, 163 weight class). Eduardo Chavez has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Silly Billy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eduardo Chavez! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chavez darts in and clinches Billy up against the cage. Billy turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Billy manages to end up in side control. Billy trying to control the position but Chavez is working away. Chavez is trying to control Billy's posture but Billy avoids it. Billy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Chavez wants to control but Billy postures up. Billy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Chavez has escaped the position, nice work there. Silly Billy dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Billy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Billy swats away the attempt to clinch by Chavez. Chavez wants to clinch up but Billy keeps it at a distance. Chavez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Billy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Billy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Billy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chavez on his heels. He'll look to pass Chavez's guard now, I'm sure. Billy trying to control but Chavez is working from the bottom. Billy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Chavez keeping moving, preventing Billy from controlling successfully. Billy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Chavez is looking for a triangle but Billy pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Billy content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Chavez has locked up a guillotine! Chavez's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Billy is holding on here and Chavez must be using up a lot of energy. Billy has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Chavez gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
