Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Freeman (ranked 881 p4p, 1726 weight class) and Ross Morrow (ranked 90 p4p, 183 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Morgan Freeman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Ross Morrow! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morrow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Morrow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Morrow looks to land a left hand but Freeman moved out of range nicely. Morrow connects with a good right hand that stumbles Freeman. Freeman circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Freeman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Freeman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morrow keeps working. Freeman tries to move to mount but Morrow blocks the move with his legs. Freeman throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freeman fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Freeman is looking to take a break and control but Morrow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Freeman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freeman works to advance to full mount. Morrow defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Freeman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Freeman trying to control but Morrow is having none of it. Morrow is desperately trying to improve his position but Freeman has a good base and remains in mount. Morrow wants to control but Freeman is having none of it. Freeman wants to control the pace but Morrow is squirming around nicely. Morrow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Freeman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Freeman pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Morrow avoids a series of strikes thrown by Freeman.
Freeman trying to control but Morrow is having none of it. Morrow tries to lock up and control but Freeman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Freeman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Freeman throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Morrow because Freeman loaded up on that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freeman wants to control the pace but Morrow is squirming around nicely. Freeman lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Freeman working for a submission but Morrow is keeping him at bay. Freeman thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Morrow is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Freeman tries to control but Morrow wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Freeman punching from mount but Morrow doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Freeman controlling from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Freeman punching from mount but Morrow doing a good job of avoiding damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morrow can do anything to dispel that myth. Freeman moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Morrow has worked his arm free - good work by Morrow!
A lull in the action here as Freeman stalls from top position. Freeman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Freeman laying and praying for a moment but Morrow takes advantage and regains half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Freeman keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Morgan Freeman dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Morrow missing with a left hand there. Freeman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Morrow on the wrong end of a nice hook. Freeman closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morrow's guard. Morrow tries to land a sweep but no joy. Morrow keeping moving, preventing Freeman from controlling successfully. Freeman sitting in guard here, content to control. Morrow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freeman throwing strikes but missing. Freeman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morrow swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freeman trying to control the position from guard on top but Morrow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morrow looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Morrow throws a big shot that misses. Freeman half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Morrow throws a jab but it's blocked by Freeman. No luck for Freeman with that takedown attempt. Freeman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morrow quickly recovers to half guard. Freeman is trying to control. Morrow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Freeman prevents Morrow from improving his position. Morrow desperately trying to maintain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Freeman wants to free his trapped foot but Morrow is holding on for dear life with his legs. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Freeman in particular looking to stall. Freeman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Freeman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Freeman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Morrow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Freeman is really struggling to control Morrow but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freeman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Freeman passes to side control. Freeman controls the position. The strikes coming from Freeman are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Morgan Freeman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Freeman tries to move to mount but Morrow blocks the move with his legs. Freeman controls the position. Freeman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Morrow for as long as he can get away with. You can see the frustration on Morrow's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Freeman tries to clinch but Morrow is having none of it. Freeman smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Morrow waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Freeman. The fighters circling - Morrow throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Freeman is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Morrow. Morrow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Freeman manages to avoid it. Morgan Freeman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Freeman slips under a jab. As Morrow tries to get set, Freeman tries to push him back and clinch up but Morrow manages to avoid the attempt. Ross Morrow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Freeman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Morrow sprawls well initially but Freeman persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Morrow scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Freeman manages to mount him!

Freeman misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Freeman looking to control and managing it successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Morgan Freeman dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Freeman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morrow but Morrow pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ross Morrow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Morrow is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Freeman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Morrow swings for the body but Freeman moves out of range.
Freeman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morrow was covering up waiting for the punch and Freeman finishes the takedown easily into guard. Freeman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morrow is keeping the position for now. Morrow is pulling down on Freeman's head. It's preventing any offense from Freeman, at least for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freeman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Morrow had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Freeman defends it easily. Morrow has his hands on Freeman's head, controlling the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Freeman lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Morrow keeping moving, preventing Freeman from controlling successfully. Freeman looking to pass the guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Freeman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Morrow defends well and Freeman ends up having to push Morrow into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Morrow steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Freeman. Freeman is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Morgan Freeman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Freeman has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Morrow after a bit of a struggle. Freeman works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Morrow keeping moving, preventing Freeman from controlling successfully. Freeman is pushing down on Morrow's leg trying to pass to half guard. Morrow is fighting to maintain full guard but Freeman has managed to sneak the leg through. Morrow tries to get to full guard but Freeman has control of the leg. Freeman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freeman passes the guard and advances to mount! Freeman thowing shots but they're missing. Freeman wants to control the pace but Morrow is squirming around nicely. Morrow has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Freeman's lack of action.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Freeman is looking to stall here but Morrow recovers full guard. Morrow wants to sweep but no luck. Freeman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morrow is keeping the position for now. Freeman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morrow can't keep his opponent in guard - Freeman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Freeman wants to take a breather but Morrow is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Morgan Freeman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Freeman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
