Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, The Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Pulizzi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like The Wilson has been cut.
Wilson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pulizzi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wilson somewhat.

Wilson tries to clinch there but Pulizzi circles away.

Wilson shoots in looking for a takedown. Pulizzi tries to sprawl out of it but Wilson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pulizzi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wilson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Pulizzi counters with a nice uppercut.

That has opened up The Wilson's cut even more.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pulizzi seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Wilson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Wilson has closed the distance and engaged Pulizzi in a clinch.

Wilson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wilson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pulizzi defends well and Wilson ends up having to push Pulizzi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Wilson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pulizzi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wilson.

My spies in London MMA Club inform me that Wilson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Wilson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Pulizzi manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wilson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wilson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pulizzi's waist but Pulizzi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilson off to one side.

and Pulizzi counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Wilson to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Pulizzi!
