Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Alfonso Melendez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hotsi Log! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Log has closed the distance and engaged Melendez in a clinch.
Melendez is trying to force a seperation but Log has the dominant position. Log throws an elbow but it misses.
Melendez avoids the elbow strike from Log, against the cage.
Log creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Melendez's defenses. Melendez misses with a hook to the ribs.
Log comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
 It looks like Alfonso Melendez has been cut. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Log just misses with a elbow thrown towards Melendez's brow. Log lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Melendez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Log pulls him back up using the underhooks. Melendez blocks an elbow strike from Log.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Log managing to block the knees to the body from Melendez.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Log just misses with a elbow thrown towards Melendez's brow. Melendez with the Thai clinch. Melendez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Log prevents it.

Log moves into the clinch. Log lands an elbow just above Melendez 's eye. Log creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Melendez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Melendez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Log with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
 Melendez is rocked! Log gets to his feet and stands over Melendez, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Melendez felt that one! Log unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Melendez from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hotsi Log!
