Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kulata Bitok (ranked 23335 p4p, 23368 weight class) and Tapad Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 39 - 74 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 37 - 76 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Amiga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bitok tries to avoid it but Amiga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bitok to the ground. Bitok escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bitok shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Amiga manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bitok trying to control the position from guard on top but Amiga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bitok is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Bitok trying to control but Amiga is working from the bottom. Amiga controlling the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bitok not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A head kick misses from Amiga. Bitok jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bitok stuffs the takedown. Bitok stuffs the takedown attempt from Amiga. Amiga gets slowly back to his feet. Bitok thinks about countering with a body kick. Kulata Bitok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapad Amiga. Bitok shoots in and gets a takedown into Amiga's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bitok engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bitok has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Amiga is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Bitok stays in close to Amiga's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amiga controlling Bitok's posture. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok content to stall in guard here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kulata Bitok dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown. Bitok tries to sprawl out of it but Amiga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bitok manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bitok jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Bitok tries to clinch but Amiga moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Amiga pinned against the cage. Amiga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And Amiga responds with a good body kick, but Bitok manages to step out the way in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Amiga throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bitok. Bitok stopping the sweep attempt from Amiga. Amiga pulls Bitok in close to prevent any damage. Bitok content to stall in guard here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga has his hands on Bitok's head, controlling the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bitok sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Amiga closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bitok to the mat! Bitok manages to get full guard. Bitok looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bitok managing to control the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Amiga preventing the sweep. Amiga sitting in guard here, content to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kulata Bitok dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round! Amiga dives in and grabs Bitok's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bitok pushes down on Amiga's head and hops out. Amiga fails with a takedown attempt. Bitok throws a quick counter kick to the body but Amiga avoids it. Amiga shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Amiga showed some decent athleticism there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Amiga seems content to control. Bitok is staying active underneath Amiga, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bitok tries to roll over but Amiga keeps him under control. Amiga seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Bitok controlling the position well.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Amiga as Bitok shoots in.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bitok throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Amiga was covering up waiting for the punch and Bitok finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bitok is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Amiga can do to turn this around? Amiga seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Bitok controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bitok wants to control from the top but Amiga keeps moving. Bitok is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Tapad Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kulata Bitok is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bitok stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amiga swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kulata Bitok showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bitok has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
