Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23384 p4p, 23344 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 46 - 67 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 63 - 52 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buktot shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buut as he avoids it easily. Buut follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Buut shoots for a double leg takedown but Buktot sprawls well. He's pushed Buut's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Buut goes for a double leg but Buktot avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buktot continues to drive forward. Buktot defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Buut. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Buktot defends it nicely. And Buktot counters with a quick kick to the body but Buut blocks it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buut is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Buktot wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buktot has control of Buut's left arm, preventing Buut from doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Buktot has a takedown stuffed. Buktot moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromBuut. Buut goes for a double leg but Buktot avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buktot continues to drive forward. Buktot throws a quick counter kick to the body but Buut avoids it. Buktot feints and as Buut raises his hands in defense, Buktot changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Buktot trying to control but Buut is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buut is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Buut wants to stand up but Buktot is controlling him.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Buut is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buktot sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. It appears Buktot was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Buut manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Buktot engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Buut is controlling Buktot's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buktot controls from within his opponent's guard. Buktot's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Buut pulls Buktot in close to his closed guard and prevents Buktot from doing any damage or advancing position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Buktot fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Buut steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Buut fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buktot avoids it really well and circles away. Buktot attempts a counter takedown but Buut avoids it well and moves away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut shoots in and gets a takedown into Buktot's guard.
