Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Knox (ranked 1549 p4p, 3077 weight class) and Nico Butler (ranked 198 p4p, 351 weight class). Knox kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "Hey Man Nice Shot" Filter. John Knox had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Knox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nico Butler! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butler misses with a lunging right hand
and Knox counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Butler misses with a lunging right hand
and Knox counters with a straight right hand. Butler throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Knox counter with a right hand.
Butler gets tackled into the cage by Knox. Knox maintains the clinch. Knox works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Butler trying to stall but Knox improves his position.
Knox lands on the inside with an uppercut. A short left from Knox.
Knox is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Butler can't fight it off and eventually Knox manages to take the fight to the floor. Butler looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Butler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Knox is one step ahead there. Knox content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Butler has an active guard here but Knox has managed to pass into half guard.

Knox is nestled in close to Butler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Butler taking some punishment here, with Knox in his half guard. Knox controlling the action here. Butler wants to get back to full guard. Knox wants to free his trapped foot but Butler is holding on for dear life with his legs. Knox scoring with strikes to the body and head.
 Butler is rocked!
 It looks like Nico Butler has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knox working the head and body with strikes. Butler is still in real trouble! Can Knox finish him? Knox is looking to advance position but Butler won't allow it. Butler on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Butler is trying to get back to full guard. Knox is nestled in close to Butler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Knox scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Butler tries to get to full guard but Knox has control of the leg. Knox sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Butler! Oh, Butler is in big trouble! Knox lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!
