Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fuske Fuse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Madigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuske Fuse has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Madigan!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madigan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fuse looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Madigan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Madigan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Madigan scores with a takedown into Fuse's guard.
Madigan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Madigan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Madigan showed some decent athleticism there.
Fuse on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Madigan passes the guard and advances to mount!
Fuse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Madigan on the ground.
Madigan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Madigan gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Madigan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Madigan darts in and clinches Fuse up against the cage.
Madigan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Fuse up against the cage.
Madigan wants a takedown.
Madigan pulls guard.
Fuse wants to stand but Madigan is controlling his posture from full guard.
Madigan pulls Fuse in to control the position.
Fuse throws a strike but Madigan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Madigan stands up and waves to Fuse to follow him.
Madigan avoids the head kick by Fuse.
Madigan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Madigan lands a big elbow.
Fuse is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Madigan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Fuse tries to reverse the position but Madigan maintains control.
Madigan is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fuse can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Fuse defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Madigan.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fuse swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Fuse throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Madigan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fuse is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Fuse is looking to improve his position but Madigan isn't that keen on the idea.

I looks like Madigan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Madigan has Fuse flattened out and is raining down punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cody Madigan dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fuse doesn't manage to clinch there - Madigan circles away.
Fuse misses with a head kick.
Cody Madigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Madigan closes the distance and clinches.
Madigan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fuse can't fight it off and eventually Madigan manages to take the fight to the floor. Fuse looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Madigan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fuse is trying desperately to improve position.
Madigan is working for a guillotine from mount but Fuse frees his head quite easily.
BOOM! Madigan connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Fuse is looking to get to half guard.
Madigan moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fuse has worked his arm free - good work by Fuse!
Fuse is looking to reverse the position.
Fuse is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Madigan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fuse's shoulder. That is not cool.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fuse tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Madigan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Madigan advances nicely into full mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cody Madigan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Madigan stands up and waves to Fuse to follow him.

Madigan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Madigan wants to control but Fuse is keeping him busy.
Fuse tries to bench press Madigan off him but Madigan keeps the position.

Madigan works to advance to full mount. Fuse defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
