Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phillip Coles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Lee!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Coles defends well and Lee ends up having to push Coles into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Coles appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lee is defended easily by Coles.
Lee dives in and grabs Coles's left leg, looking for a takedown. Coles pushes down on Lee's head and hops out.

Lee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lee wants to advance to full mount but Coles doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Lee wants to control from the top but Coles keeps moving.
Coles has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Coles has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Lee slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Coles is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Coles walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lee drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Coles swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lee's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
