Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zeke Hester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bray Jeffries!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Jeffries.
Hester misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hester wants to clinch up but Jeffries keeps it at a distance.
And Jeffries tries to counter it with a takedown but Hester pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jeffries has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hester doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jeffries avoids a punch combination nicely.
It seemed like Jeffries was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
No joy there for Jeffries, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
