The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Lemon as Dos Santos shoots in.
Lemon connects with a nice looking jab.
Dos Santos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lemon defends it nicely.
Lemon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dos Santos's head backwards.
Lemon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dos Santos sprawling to the canvas! Dos Santos rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lemon finish him?!
Dos Santos is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A nice right hand lands inside from Lemon.
Lemon lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dos Santos backwards.

Dos Santos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lemon after a bit of a struggle.
Kurt Lemon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucio Dos Santos.
Dos Santos is pressed against the cage. Lemon pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Dos Santos! Two more big strikes from Lemon and Dos Santos crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
