Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Yasalmibaal tries to keep at a distance but Reed has taken the fight into the clinch. Yasalmibaal goes for a takedown attempt but Reed pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Reed tries to clinch up but Yasalmibaal circles away and keeps his distance. Yasalmibaal tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Reed defends well and Yasalmibaal ends up having to push Reed into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Yasalmibaal looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Odaishah Yasalmibaal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reed has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yasalmibaal is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reed regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
