Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cohen Hawthorne (ranked 3154 p4p, 2698 weight class) and Lysander Pollio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pollio has chosen I'd Love To Knock The Hell Out Of You as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cohen Hawthorne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lysander Pollio! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pollio doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hawthorne holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hawthorne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pollio tries to clinch but Hawthorne moves away and Hawthorne counters with a right hand to the body. Hawthorne misses with the combination.
Hawthorne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pollio sprawls well. Pollio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hawthorne gets slowly back to his feet. Pollio stuffs the takedown attempt from Hawthorne. Hawthorne gets slowly back to his feet. Pollio flicks out a counter leg kick but Hawthorne steps away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pollio fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pollio looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawthorne tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Pollio prevents Hawthorne from improving his position. Hawthorne is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Hawthorne moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pollio stops Hawthorne from standing up. Hawthorne pulls Pollio in close to prevent any damage. Pollio passes Hawthorne's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hawthorne wants to get back to full guard. Hawthorne gets back to full guard.
Pollio lands a couple of elbows. Pollio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hawthorne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pollio with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Pollio cracks Hawthorne with a solid left hand. Pollio lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hawthorne is looking to cinch up a triangle. Pollio throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hawthorne's body to avoid the submission. Hawthorne has instead reached around Pollio's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hawthorne arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Cohen Hawthorne! Cohen Hawthorne seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
