Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leroy Dukes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reid Erickson!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erickson moves out of range as Dukes strikes.
Erickson cracks Dukes with an open hand slap.
Dukes blocks a jab.
Erickson throws out a loose jab but Dukes uses good head movement to avoid it.
A combination from Dukes does no damage.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Erickson! But no joy.
Dukes moves to clinch but Erickson breaks away
and Erickson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dukes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Erickson was well out of range. Poor timing from Dukes.
Dukes scores with a jab to the head.
Dukes jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dukes misses the jab.
Dukes throws a left and a right that both miss
and Erickson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dukes throws a right hand that Erickson ducks under and follows up with a left that Erickson also avoids with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Erickson throws an overhand right that lands on Dukes's shoulder, as Dukes tries to avoid the shot.
Dukes darts in trying to clinch
and Dukes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Dukes tries to close the distance and clinch but Erickson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dukes misses with an uppercut
and Erickson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dukes tries to clinch up but Erickson circles away and keeps his distance.
It seemed like Erickson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Erickson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Erickson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dukes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Erickson throws out the jab.

Dukes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dukes tries to clinch up but Erickson circles away and keeps his distance.

and Erickson counters with a nice right hand that sends Dukes toppling to the canvas! Dukes scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Erickson finish him?!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Donk. Dukes catches Erickson right on the button with a cross.

and Erickson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dukes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Erickson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It seemed like Erickson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Erickson throws the left hand but Dukes avoids the punch easily.

and Erickson counters with a nice right hand that sends Dukes toppling to the canvas! Dukes scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Erickson finish him?!
Oh Dukes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Leroy Dukes has been cut.
Erickson misses with a lunging right hand
and Dukes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Dukes seems to have got his legs back now.
Erickson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dukes to score with a decent uppercut.
Dukes lands an overhand right.
Dukes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Leroy Dukes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dukes looks to throw the jab but Erickson is out of range.
A big right from Dukes misses.
Erickson throws a jab but it's blocked by Dukes.

Dukes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Erickson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dukes missing with a left hand there. Erickson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Dukes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Erickson keeps the fight on the outside.
Dukes falls off balance throwing a combination
and Erickson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dukes throws a jab but it's blocked by Erickson.
Dukes has closed the distance and engaged Erickson in a clinch.
Dukes manages to break the clinch.
Erickson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dukes slips under a jab.
Dukes throws a big counter combination but Erickson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Erickson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dukes.
Erickson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Dukes throws the kick towards the body but Erickson avoids it.
Dukes tries to clinch up.
Erickson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dukes had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Dukes scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Dukes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Erickson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dukes throws a good cross that connects.

and Erickson counters with a huge left! Dukes is in big trouble! He's backing up but Erickson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Dukes from any more damage. A dominating finish by Erickson!
