Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Patterson (ranked 1029 p4p, 2534 weight class) and Kai Smith (ranked 136 p4p, 335 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Patterson tumbling to the canvas! Smith pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Patterson was done - good stoppage!
