Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy McGee (ranked 2979 p4p, 2168 weight class) and Donovan Griggs (ranked 263 p4p, 194 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Griggs's choice of entrance music: Can't Be Touched- Roy Jones Jr.. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Donovan Griggs enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmy McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donovan Griggs!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Darius Henderson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griggs darts in trying to clinch
and Griggs takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McGee lunges at Griggs with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Griggs's hand.
Griggs takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Donovan Griggs has been cut.
McGee uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Griggs is rocked!
McGee throws a nice outside leg kick.
Griggs is still on wobbly legs! Can McGee finish him?
We've been told by McGee's head coaches at Heavy Metal that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
McGee circles away from the clinch attempt.
And McGee counters with a quick kick to the body but Griggs blocks it.
Griggs seems to have recovered his senses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Griggs takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
McGee thuds his right hand into Griggs's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
McGee throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Griggs sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Griggs closes the distance looking to clinch
and McGee counters with a low kick, right behind Griggs 's knee.
McGee connects with a single shot there.
Griggs walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Griggs wants to clinch up but McGee keeps it at a distance.
McGee circles away from the clinch attempt
and McGee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGee lands an uppercut, right on the button! Griggs tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimmy McGee!
A relieved looking Jimmy McGee thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
