Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little connects with a body shot.
Kormier throws a jab but it's blocked by Little.
Kormier misses with a few strikes there.
Little slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kormier walks into a straight right hand from Little.

Deandre Little seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kormier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kormier tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Little counters with a right hand to the body.
Kormier takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Kormier has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kormier there as he acknowledges the shot.

Kormier shoots in looking for a takedown. Little tries to sprawl out of it but Kormier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Little manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Denise Kormier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Little wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Little is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kormier had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Kormier looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Little lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Little throws a series of strikes that have Kormier backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A left and a right from Little both land. Nice combination.
Kormier is rocked!

Oh Kormier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Little cracks Kormier with a hook to the temple - Kormier is on wobbly legs here! Little swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Kormier falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Little wins by TKO!
