Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from diaz.
diaz closes the distance and clinches up with Bear, looking for a takedown. diaz pushes Bear against the cage but Bear circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bear paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bear drops his shoulder and cracks diaz with a huge uppercut! diaz goes down! Can Bear finish him?
diaz is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
diaz working for submissions but it's allowed Bear to get to half guard.
diaz is still in real trouble! Can Bear finish him?
diaz wants to improve his position but Bear is controlling well.
diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
Bear tries to stand and escape but diaz is controlling the position.
diaz is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bear pulls his head out easily.
Bear wants to stand up but diaz is controlling the position.

Bear decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
No luck for diaz with that takedown attempt.
Tiny Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of nate diaz.
diaz shoots in but no luck this time.
Tiny Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice combo by Bear! Oh, that's hurt him - diaz falls to the canvas and Bear follows him into side control.
diaz looks gassed!

Bear decides to take the fight back to the feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bear sends diaz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bear is motioning to the referee to let diaz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Bear fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops diaz to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! diaz looks to clinch but Bear throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! diaz taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
