The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pink's half guard.
Pink misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Nelson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pink doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nelson.
Nelson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pink wants to hold on but Nelson pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nelson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Nelson extends the arm and Pink is forced to tap!
