Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blaze Cunningham (ranked 2781 p4p, 2650 weight class) and Salter JR (ranked 263 p4p, 246 weight class). Cunningham comes to the cage accompanied by Empire State Of Mind. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blaze Cunningham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Salter JR!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
JR has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
JR misses with a takedown
and Cunningham counters with a stiff right hand.
Cunningham throws a right hand that JR ducks under and follows up with a left that JR also avoids with ease.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from JR! But no joy.
JR moves into the clinch.
Cunningham pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cunningham throws a leg kick but JR moved away.
Cunningham jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Good exchange - Cunningham coming out on top.
Cunningham slips under a jab.
JR misses with an uppercut.
JR scores with a jab to the body.
No luck for JR with that takedown attempt.
Cunningham throws a jab but it's blocked by JR.
This has been an exciting period of action!
JR rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and JR takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Cunningham counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A combination from Cunningham does no damage.

JR tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cunningham manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cunningham is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
JR rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cunningham cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
JR takes a swing at Cunningham's ribcage but misses.
Cunningham was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Cunningham scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Cunningham uses good head movement to avoid the hook from JR.

JR throws a body shot but no joy.
Cunningham avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A slow jab from JR misses its intended target.

JR misses with a looping right.
Cunningham lands a nice shot to the body.
JR swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
JR connects with a body shot that sends Cunningham's belly button to the back.
JR throws a hook to the side of Cunningham's head but Cunningham sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
JR tries to clinch but Cunningham moves out of range.
Cunningham seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
JR throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cunningham's waist but Cunningham gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing JR off to one side.
Cunningham was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Blaze Cunningham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Salter JR.
JR shoots for a double leg takedown but Cunningham sprawls well. He's pushed JR's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cunningham is looking for a counter combo.
Cunningham takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Salter JR seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
JR misses the jab.
Cunningham throwing a counter right hand but JR manages to avoid it.
JR fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cunningham, pushing him back against the cage.
JR wants to stall.
Cunningham is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Cunningham can't break the clinch.
Cunningham wants to get back to striking at distance but JR won't allow it.
JR misses with a knee strike.
Cunningham is leaning against JR and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Cunningham avoids the elbow strike from JR, against the cage.
Cunningham lands an uppercut.
JR throws a head punch that misses.
JR pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Cunningham lands a hook that snaps the head of JR backwards.

Cunningham stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
JR swings wildly with an uppercut but Cunningham uses good head movement to avoid it.
JR goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Cunningham blocks a punch to the side of the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for JR.
JR looking to throw knees to the head but Cunningham is blocking nicely.
JR with an attempt at a knee that misses.
A head punch on the inside from JR fails to land.

Cunningham escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
JR tries to clinch up
and Cunningham counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
JR uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cunningham.
JR just misses with a punch to the body.
Cunningham went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
JR fails to land the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from JR. Cunningham does a little dance to reset his feet.
A counter left hand to the body from Cunningham misses its target.
Cunningham throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cunningham works the jab nicely.
Cunningham blocks a jab.
Cunningham is looking to counter with head kicks.
JR connects with a body shot.
JR misses with a left hand
and Cunningham connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cunningham throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck JR on the side of the head.
JR is rocked!

and Cunningham counters with a big right hand! Oh JR is in trouble here! Cunningham follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

After winning the bout, Blaze Cunningham thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
