Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vic Romano (ranked 1196 p4p, 1122 weight class) and Terry Silver (ranked 160 p4p, 152 weight class). Romano's entrance music is MXC Most Extreme Challenge. A fine choice. Terry Silver will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vic Romano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Silver! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silver misses with a wild body shot. Romano is looking to counter punch. Silver walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Vic Romano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Romano has Silver up against the cage in a clinch.
Romano tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A left hand lands to the body for Silver.
A nice left hand lands by Silver.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Silver. Romano misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Silver misses with a punch to the body.
Silver pushes Romano back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Romano lands a left hand.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Romano. Romano blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Silver prevents a body shot from Romano. Silver tries a body shot but Romano blocks it.
A body shot lands from Silver.
Romano lands a left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silver prevents a body shot from Romano.
Romano jumps into guard, dragging Silver to the mat.
Silver sitting in guard, not really doing much. Silver must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Romano looking for a sweep. Not yet Romano, not yet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Silver has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Romano is proving hard to escape from. Silver trying to control but Romano is working from the bottom. Romano wants to sweep but no luck. Romano managing to control the position. Romano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silver manages to get himself to full guard.
Silver is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Romano with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Silver wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Romano is now in half guard. Romano throwing shots but Silver is blocking nicely.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Romano lands strikes from half guard. Silver trying to control here.
Silver might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Romano haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Silver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Romano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Romano is keen to just control but Silver is a slippery customer. Silver looks like he's trying to stand up.
Silver keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Silver is trying to get back to full guard. Romano lands with a punch from half guard. Romano wants to free his trapped foot but Silver is holding on for dear life with his legs. Silver is looking for a sweep. Romano is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Romano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver trying to control from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silver can do anything to dispel that myth. Romano prevents Silver from improving his position. Romano works his foot free and advances to mount. Romano working Silver over with strikes here. Silver tries to reverse the position but Romano maintains control. Silver in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Romano with shots to the head and body - Silver looks very uncomfortable down there. Romano lands a couple of good shots and Silver has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Romano is looking to finish with some ground and pound! This has been an exciting period of action! Romano lands strikes to the head.
 Silver is rocked! Romano lands a shot to the body. Silver is still in real trouble! Can Romano finish him? Silver is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Silver is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Romano off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Silver covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Romano drops a big shot to the side of Silver's head! Oh, Silver is out! He's out cold! Romano jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner. In his post fight interview he thanks God. Saying that without him, he wouldn't have the power to knock his opponent senseless. Amen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Vic Romano! After winning the bout, Vic Romano thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
