Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mo Lee (ranked 3514 p4p, 23774 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 298 p4p, 413 weight class). Krzysztof Zakrzewski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mo Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee closes the distance and clinches. Lee displaying some good clinch control by pressing Zakrzewski up against the cage. Lee jumps guard.
Lee throws his legs up looking for a submission but Zakrzewski uses it to pass to side control.
Zakrzewski working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Lee regains half guard. Lee is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Special Ops N7 Training , so we'll see if he gets out of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee wants to improve his position but Zakrzewski is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zakrzewski trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom. Zakrzewski tries to stand and escape but Lee is controlling the position. Zakrzewski wants to take a breather but Lee is having none of it. Lee moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zakrzewski is one step ahead there. Lee is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Lee takes the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zakrzewski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Zakrzewski manages to escape to his feet. Lee clinches up with Zakrzewski and pushes him back against the cage. Lee decides to pull guard. Zakrzewski is in close to Lee's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lee throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Zakrzewski won't allow Lee to get back to his feet. Lee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zakrzewski manages to get himself to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zakrzewski working a defensive guard but Lee manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zakrzewski trying to control but Lee flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Zakrzewski is covering up but some of the strikes from Lee are getting through and doing damage.
Lee slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Zakrzewski trying to control the hands but Lee breaks the grip. Lee is persistently looking for the submission but Zakrzewski is defending it well.
Zakrzewski is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Lee.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zakrzewski can't escape the position.

Mo Lee dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lee closes the distance and pushes Zakrzewski back into the cage. Lee tries for a takedown. No joy.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Zakrzewski looking for a takedown. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Zakrzewski jumps guard but Lee stands there with Zakrzewski around his waist. Zakrzewski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Zakrzewski is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lee is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Zakrzewski to the mat. Zakrzewski regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zakrzewski's head. Lee stands and throws Zakrzewski's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lee controlling from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zakrzewski for as long as he can get away with. Lee working the head and body with strikes. Lee lands a few punches from side control. Lee slows the pace down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Zakrzewski is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lee connects with a decent elbow. Lee cracks Zakrzewski with an elbow. That is naaassty. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Lee tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zakrzewski trying his best to control but Lee has mounted him. BOOM! Lee connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Lee controlling the pace for now. Lee dominating with strikes here. Zakrzewski is breathing heavily. Lee scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee looking to secure an arm triangle but Zakrzewski defends it well. Lee controlling from mount. Lee working the ground and pound effectively.

Mo Lee dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zakrzewski uses from the top position. Lee managing to control the position. Lee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee is pulling down on Zakrzewski's head. It's preventing any offense from Zakrzewski, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Zakrzewski escapes and throws Lee's legs to the side, diving into side control! Lee stops Zakrzewski from passing to mount. Lee struggling a bit here. Lee is being controlled here. Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee is looking to regain half guard here but Zakrzewski keeps moving and retains side control. Zakrzewski working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Zakrzewski trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom. A bit of a lull in the action here. Mo Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lee moves into range and clinches up with Zakrzewski. Zakrzewski tries to circle away but Lee has him pinned against the cage. Lee pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee has his hands on Zakrzewski's head, controlling the position. Lee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zakrzewski manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Zakrzewski's head. Lee controls from within his opponent's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zakrzewski is looking for a triangle here but Lee uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Zakrzewski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Zakrzewski on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Mo Lee showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
