Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Revolver Ocelot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kamara Ibrahim! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ibrahim misses with an uppercut. A nice leg kick lands there from Ocelot. Ocelot tries to clinch there but Ibrahim circles away.
A jab from Ocelot misses. Ibrahim has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ibrahim throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Ibrahim scores with an uppercut up the middle. Ocelot manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ocelot has his foot on Ibrahim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ibrahim works his way back into a safe position though. Ocelot has Ibrahim pulled in close to control his posture. Ocelot controls Ibrahim momentarily but Ibrahim frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ocelot has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Ocelot looking for a guillotine here but Ibrahim defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ocelot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ibrahim doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ibrahim manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ibrahim got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ocelot has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ibrahim has managed to get both his arms back between Ocelot's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ocelot has his foot on Ibrahim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ibrahim works his way back into a safe position though. Ibrahim is sitting in close to Ocelot's body. Ocelot has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ibrahim is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ibrahim is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Ocelot.
