Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Gomez does no damage.
Gomez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Rocha is looking to stand back up but Gomez counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Rocha.
Gomez decides to stand up.
Rocha staying out of range there.
Rocha appears to be looking for a big counter.
Nice sprawl there from Gomez as Rocha shoots in.
Gomez throws a body punch but Rocha moves out of range.
Gomez throws a sloppy head kick and Rocha moves out of range easily.
Rocha looks for a takedown but Gomez sprawls well.
Gomez scores with a takedown into Rocha's guard.
Rocha is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gomez dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rocha seems a little lost for a moment, as Gomez dominates the positioning.
Rocha is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Gomez is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Rocha is desperately trying to improve his position but Gomez has a good base and remains in mount.
Gomez in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Gomez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rocha has left one of his arms exposed and Gomez doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Rocha screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
