Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leg Humpa (ranked 4781 p4p, 4033 weight class) and Ben Lauzon (ranked 504 p4p, 469 weight class). Leg Humpa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leg Humpa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Lauzon!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lauzon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Humpa was covering up waiting for the punch and Lauzon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lauzon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lauzon working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Lauzon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lauzon throws an elbow that misses. Humpa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lauzon's guard. Nice move by Humpa!
Humpa is looking to work some ground and pound but Lauzon has wrist control.
Humpa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lauzon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Humpa's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Humpa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lauzon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Humpa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Lauzon is pulling down on Humpa's head. It's preventing any offense from Humpa, at least for the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lauzon is striking off his back. Humpa thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Lauzon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Humpa regains half guard.
Humpa is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lauzon pulls his head out easily.

Humpa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lauzon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lauzon's back!
Humpa throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Lauzon has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Humpa.

Lauzon looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Humpa's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Lauzon has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Humpa.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Humpa missing with strikes from the back.
Lauzon manages to reverse the position and now he's in Humpa's guard. Nice work there by Lauzon.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ben Lauzon will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lauzon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Humpa's guard.

Lauzon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Humpa's head.

Humpa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lauzon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lauzon lying in Humpa's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Humpa decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Lauzon taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
