Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sig Freud (ranked 3578 p4p, 2462 weight class) and The Doctor (ranked 308 p4p, 233 weight class). Doctor has chosen $uicideboy$ - The Thin Grey Line as his entrance music. The Doctor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sig Freud! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Doctor! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freud takes a body punch but keeps moving. Nice uppercut lands for Doctor. That snapped Freud's head back.
Freud takes one to the chin there. Doctor lands with a hook. Freud tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Freud misses with a straight left. Doctor swings for the body but Freud moves out of range.
Freud fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Doctor doesn't manage to clinch there - Freud circles away.
Freud darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Doctor keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Freud tries to pass to full mount but Doctor defends it. Doctor keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Doctor trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freud winds up and cracks Doctor with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Freud knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Doctor on the ground. Doctor is not content to let Freud control the position. Doctor has hold of Freud's hands but Freud slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Doctor gets full guard. Doctor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Freud doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Doctor is tightening it up a little... Freud has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Freud reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Freud taps out! Nice BJJ there by Doctor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). The Doctor! The Doctor bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
