Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Khazmat Zorb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 263 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frito Lei!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zorb fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lei sprawls well initially but Zorb persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lei looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zorb is nestled in close to Lei, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Zorb is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Zorb maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lei could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Zorb has cracked it and Lei is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Zorb!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Khazmat Zorb!
In defeat, Frito Lei stepped up to the mic, saying 'I need a drink!'.
