The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lampi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dren Jr is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Eemeli Lampi has been cut.
Dren Jr has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight.
Lampi lands a nice looking body kick.
Dren Jr moves out of range as Lampi strikes.

and Dren Jr counters with a series of strikes that sends Lampi to the canvas! Dren Jr follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Dren Jr has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dren Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lampi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dren Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Lampi's legs - danger averted.

Dren Jr works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lampi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dren Jr pulls his head out easily.

Dren Jr wants to stand up but Lampi is controlling the position.

Lampi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Dren Jr gets to his feet. Lampi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Lampi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dren Jr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Dren Jr counters with a nice uppercut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lampi blocks a head kick by Dren Jr.
Lampi follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Lampi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dren Jr throws a sloppy head kick
and Lampi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dren Jr misses with a head kick.
Lampi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
