Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 5371 p4p, 22665 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 128 - 28 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 135 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fighter A darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fighter A content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fighter A is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A prevents Fighter B from improving his position. Fighter B missing with punches from the bottom.

Fighter A thows a huge punch but Fighter B dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Well, if Fighter A is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter B is trying to defend but Fighter A finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fighter B is holding on to half guard well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A controlling the action here. Fighter B wants to improve his position but Fighter A is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter A seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fighter B for as long as he can get away with. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. That's time! Fighter A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fighter B fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter A sprawls well initially but Fighter B persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fighter A preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Fighter A trying to control from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fighter B lands a nice short elbow. Fighter A is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B throwing shots but Fighter A is blocking nicely. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Fighter B missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter B clinches up with Fighter A and pushes him back against the cage. Fighter A has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fighter B after a bit of a struggle. Fighter B is trying to push Fighter A away but Fighter A has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter B gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fighter A.
Fighter B has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fighter A regains guard immediately. Fighter A bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fighter B's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head to control his posture. Fighter A controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in to control the position. Fighter A is stalling in the full guard. Fighter B trying to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter A looks for the body kick but Fighter B saw that one coming. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A quick step to the side and Fighter A tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Fighter B closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fighter A is not content to let Fighter B control the position. Fighter B working away. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B cracks Fighter A with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's one minute gone in the round. The strikes coming from Fighter B are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Fighter A avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fighter B. Fighter A can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fighter A managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Fighter B.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter B drives through with a takedown into Fighter A's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Fighter A has his hands on Fighter B's head, controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to sweep but no luck. Fighter A manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fighter B manages to get himself to full guard.
Fighter A is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter B darts in looking for a takedown but Fighter A gets double underhooks and turns Fighter B into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A leaves Fighter B with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fighter A throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter B's waist but Fighter B gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter A off to one side. Fighter A tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter B sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter A somewhat. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Xxx Xxx. I think Fighter B has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
